“And he [Christ] died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised.” (2 Corinthians 5:15, ESV)

Dear Members and Friends of Redeemer,

The Lord be with you!

Worship services, office hours and other scheduled activities at Redeemer are temporarily suspended until GOOD FRIDAY, April 10  due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are planning to have a worship service with Holy Communion on Good Friday starting at 6:30 p.m. and planning worship with Holy Communion on EASTER SUNDAY, April 12, at 6:30 and 9:00 a.m.

Here are some ways to experience worship at home during this crisis:

Worship services that Pastor Griebel has recorded during the shutdown can be viewed on Spectrum channel 181 and Jaguar channel 900 on Sundays at 9:00 a.m., Tuesdays at 1:00 p.m. and at 3:30 p.m. on Fridays.

Redeemer’s worship services can be viewed online at: http://www.owatonnalive.com/Church-services.html.

Pastor Griebel’s sermons can be viewed on YouTube at: https://redeemerowatonna.org/sermons/

Another great option for worship is the Lutheran Hour. At the top of their home page at https://www.lhm.org/ there is a link to click on to listen to this program.

Also, some members of Redeemer have volunteered to help those who may need help getting supplies or going to appointments. If you need someone to help with getting supplies or going to appointments call the church office at 451-2720.

By God’s grace we will emerge from this crisis with a renewed sense of God’s love and mercy and ready and willing to continue serving others in his name.

Psalm 38:

[21] Do not forsake me, O LORD! O my God, be not far from me!

[22] Make haste to help me, O Lord, my salvation!

Have a great day in the Lord,

Pastor Griebel

Dear Pastor Griebel, Thank you for being there and your commitment to our daughter during her medical emergency following the auto accident. You went above and beyond the call of duty and we wanted you to know how much it was appreciated. She is doing fine now physically but trying to put her life back together emotionally and financially. Thank you for helping us in our time of need. God bless you. PT

Dear Pastor, I want to thank you for a wonderful sermon last Sunday. It really touched my wife and me. Is there a way you could send us a copy? Considering what we are going through it was very timely. Nice job! CR
